# Vecstore

> Vecstore is a hosted search API for images and text. Developers insert text or images through a REST API and search them by meaning, with no ML models or vector database to run. It also provides autocomplete and NSFW detection. One API key covers every product.

- Base URL: `https://api.vecstore.app/api`, authenticated with an `X-API-Key` header.
- Each database is either text or image, chosen when it is created in the dashboard.
- Text queries work in 100+ languages, and queries and documents can be in different languages.
- In our tests on 10 million records, a search took 3-4ms.
